Spring Break in Snow

As this is being posted I am on a flight back to PDX for the last month of my freshman year (crazy how fast the year went by!) but here are some pictures of what I spent my last week doing!

From top left: flew home to Minnesota, cut 8 inches off my hair, did a bit of shopping, celebrated an early Easter, was given the worlds coolest umbrella (all the way from Belgium), and attempted to make French Macarons. 

My spring break wasn’t terribly exciting but the week off at home was exactly what I needed to help unwind and prepare for the stress I am going to have to deal with back at school, my classes are loading everything on within this last month!

Style Crush: Ulyana Sergeenko

To me, Ulyana Sergeenko is the absolute epitome of style, grace, elegance, and glamour. Her looks are always timeless and perfectly put together, I love the way she mixes vintage and contemporary pieces together to create a modern, yet somehow nostalgic, look every time. Perfectly poised in every shot, her style and energy are two things that I aspire to channel into myself everyday.

Also, can we talk about how amazing her hair and make-up are? Maybe it’s the great bone structure and huge eyes and lips that just make everything look angelic, but I would love to take a look inside of her makeup bag. I especially love the lipstick she is wearing the in the photo belowRevisiting these photos just makes me want to shop for full skirts, amazing heels, and loads of lipstick….but then again when isn’t that the case?

As much as I miss Minnesota I love being able to wear dresses and ballet flats in the middle of March, sometimes Portland weather is just perfect :)

OOTD: Sunday Brunch

What I Wore [Dress: Gap, Belt and Earrings: Forever 21, Boots: Lucky]

My parents came into town this weekend which meant eating lots of good food and being a tourist around Portland. This morning before they headed back to the Midwest we had brunch at The Daily Cafe in The Pearl, which was amazing. This striped dress, easy hair, and a pair of boots were the perfect thing to throw on this morning and is becoming one of my go-to outfits. Have a good sunday!
